Dr. Anup Naik is the Founder Director of Urban Frame Pvt Ltd, is a trained architect and urban designer. He completed his PhD in Sustainable Architecture from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka and BMSCA being his Research Center. He completed his Master’s in Urban Design from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and Bachelor’s in Architecture from BMS College of Architecture, Bangalore.
His work experience of 28 years has spanned across countries like Morocco, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Kenya, Vietnam and across India. Along with his professional pursuit he is an active academician and is a Professor at the RV College of Architecture and on the advisory board of multiple Colleges offering Architecture education.
His core specialisation as an Architect and Urban Designer, has seen him actively involved with the Smart City Mission as an Independent Director of Smart City Bengaluru, as a Built Environment expert (Heritage) for Shivamogga Smart City and as a Waterfront Consultant for Mangaluru Smart City.
