Andreas was the Managing Director of the renowned curtain wall firm Josef Gartner Asian operations till 2002. His initial façade project was Lloyd’s Insurance Building in London while working at Josef Gartner design department in Germany before. In 2002 Andreas joined Builders Federal, a local high quality facade firm. While proceeding with facades he was building up a specialist contracting division which for example designed and built Asia’s tallest revolving door at Novotel City Gate Hotel in Hong Kong. Andreas’ expertise lie in blending his German engineering background and technology know how and a keen sense for architecture into the design and management of the building facade. He advises on current developments and design trends due to frequent travels to Europe & USA. Some of the major projects in which he was Involved in Curtain Wall include: Taipei Financial Centre (Taiwan), Chater House (Hong Kong), Jin Mao Tower (Shanghai,PRC), Bank of China Tower (Hong Kong), Exchange Square I/II/III (Hong Kong), Louis Vuitton Stores (Worldwide). A few major projects in which he is Involved in Curtain Wall Consultancy include L’ Avenue Shanghai (Shanghai), Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange Building (Zhengzhou), Bank of China (Suzhou), ICC Chengdu Towers (Chengdu), Bahria Icon Karachi (Pakistan), Al Shaqab (Qatar), Ras Laffan (Qatar), Limitless (Dubai), BIIC (Bahrain) and Pacific Place (Hong Kong).
