Stephen joined the practice in 1992, was made an Associate in 2011 and a Partner in 2016. His extensive technical expertise means he provides the practice with key advice, in particular on cladding and construction systems as well as off-site manufacture. He led the cladding package on The Leadenhall Building, the mainframe package on Lloyds Register and monitoring and compliance on One Hyde Park.
Stephen has unparalleled experience in built work and has extensive practical skill in taking projects from scheme design through to completion on site.
Stephen has been retained as ‘design champion’, working with the client’s architect in a design and build contracts on two residential schemes which are under construction in London. Riverlight will provide 806 homes across six buildings in Nine Elms and Merano is made up of 46 apartments in a stepped 28 storey development.
Stephen is currently advising the architectural teams through the construction of Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport and the pre-construction phase of Geneva Airport.
