Senior Innovation Manager, Schüco International KG
Oliver is an Senior Innovation Manager at Schüco, one of the leading international suppliers of high-quality window, door and façade systems and has over 25 years of experience in buildings and façades.
After an apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner he acquired his architectural diploma in Aachen and worked on a wide array of projects at different scales as an architect and project engineer. Additionally gaining a master’s degree in building physics and technical services at the University of Wuppertal, he was involved in collaborative research projects on energy efficient buildings and façade optimisation for 7 years. As a tutor for building simulation and solar shading tools, he also trained the next generation of architects.
In 2014 he joined the product management team at Schüco where he was responsible for innovative façade products, including the award winning Schüco Parametric System. Combining complex physical structure, supporting digital processes and manufacturing technology in a singular façade solution.
Oliver is passionate about cross discipline cooperation and is currently involved in the progression of the collaborative knowledge base and facilitating innovation at Schüco International KG.
