2nd Edition – Zak World of Façades India

Ahmedabad witnessed one of the finest group of construction professionals gathering at a common plane ground – the second of the many road shows for the Zak World of Façades conference series. The event featured prominent names from the industry talking on various innovations in façade design & engineering. It was by far the largest gathering of professionals from the façade fraternity in Gujarat.

First to address the audience was Mr Pankaj Goel (General Manager & Country Head – Marketing, Jindal Aluminium) who gave an indepth elaboration on “Aluminium Profiles for Curtain Walls”.

The next segment was taken charge by Mr Bhisham Vaswani (Country Head, Halfen India) who elucidated & educated the audience on the “Safer Facade Connections – Revolutionary Changes”.

Next to present was Ms Suhag Khemlani (Deputy MD, Clean India Group) who presented & shared some of Clean India Group’s immense experience on “Safety at Heights”.

The fourth speaker was Mr Tamilvaanam Raamalingam (Executive Director, CAD Plan India & ME) who presented on “BIM & Engineering Design for Façades”.

The highlight of the evening was the client – architect – consultant – civil contractor – educational institution group discussion which involved Mr Selvam (CEO & Director, Geotrix Building Envelope Pvt. Ltd.) as the moderator. Mr Christopher Laack (Principal & Design Director, Burt Hill Design Pvt. Ltd.) represented the architect fraternity. Mr Subrata Dutta, Project Manager for Gift City Project, L&T – Construction, Buildings & Factories represented the civil contracting & client fraternity, Mr Rajan Govind (Director, BES Consultants Pvt Ltd) was the façade consultant on the panel. Mr Naren Kumar, Technical Lead and National Head of Glass Academy and Saint Gobain Glass. The audience joined in with several interesting questions & suggestion to the panelists.
