Graduated from the School of Architecture at Bharti Vidyapeeth University in Pune, Abhishek Arora is an Associate Director at Morphogenesis, one of India’s leading award-winning Architecture and Urban Design practices. The firm has been ranked yet again, for the 13th time running, among the Top 100 Architectural Design Firms worldwide by Building Design Magazine, UK in WA100 2024. The practice is the recipient of over 130 international and national Awards which include being India’s first World Architecture Festival Award winners, 5 Indian Institute of Architects Awards, and Laureates of the Singapore Institute of Architects Getz Award. The firm’s works have been featured in over 1000 publications, both International and National.
Abhishek boasts more than a decade of experience in crafting innovative conceptual projects spanning various types and scales. Throughout his tenure, Abhishek has tackled a diverse portfolio of assignments, encompassing commercial, residential, IT parks, hospitality, master-planning, and mixed-use developments.
Abhishek’s professional ethos is deeply rooted in his passion for his craft, and his skill set encompasses technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders alike. He is currently heading our Pune office, where his primary objective is to expand Morphogenesis’ influence throughout the Western Region. In this role, he has been dedicated to disseminating the firm’s design philosophy in the region and attracting top-tier talent.
Abhishek has played a pivotal role in shaping and realizing some of Morphogenesis’ most prominent undertakings, including the Surat Diamond Bourse, recognized as the world’s largest single office building, the Dakshana Valley Institute in Pune, the KRC Commercial Development in Balewadi, Pune, Voyage to the Stars in Pune, Group Housing for Godrej in New Delhi, Trump Towers in Gurugram, Group Housing for Tribeca in Gurugram, and the ITC Mixed Use Development in Kolkata, among others.
