Adam has a background in sustainability, mechanical, and façade design and specialises in multi-disciplinary design integration. He has worked on a variety of project typologies across multiplecountries, having been based previously in Cape Town, Berlin,and now London. His project experiencecovers a wide range and scope, from conceptual design and building physics studies, to on-siteconstruction monitoring and delivery.Recently he has been involved in several residential façade remediation and upgradeschemes focusingon fire safety, including an in-situ replacement for a fully-occupied block. Each such scheme is nuancedin its differences, revealing new challenges that will shape the industry in the near-term future.Adam also works closely with our in-house Foresight, Research + Innovation team. He recently co-authored a publication 2050 Scenarios: four plausible futures studying plausible future scenarios for theplanet and society, and their implications on today’s design decisions forthe built environment.
