Adam Watson is a Registered Architect and the Director of Design on the L+M Development Partners’ Preconstruction Team. Since joining L+M in 2012, Adam has been a part of the project team for their passive house projects, Beach Green 2 in the Rockaways, Sendero Verde in Harlem, and Alafia in Brooklyn. Sendero Verde will be one of the largest passive house project in the world when complete. Alafia, mixed use residnetial, will provide 2,400 units of affordable housing, planned as all electric, passive housing, using gothermal and waste water heat recovery.He has also been a part of adpative reuse projects like the Hahnes Department store in Newark and dozens of preservation projects.Adam is a member of the AIA, LEED AP and Certified Passive House Designer with a BArch from Virginia Tech and MArch from City College of New York. He lives with his wife and two kids in Brooklyn, NY.
