Business Development Manager, Schüco International SCS
Trained in multimedia and management in France, Canada, and Morocco, Adil Moustakim returned to Rabat, his home city, to perform management roles in multinationals. In 2003 he chose to enter the construction industry, drawn to the synergies between teams working in the sector: “Every department (sales, technical, accounting) has something to teach the others. On site, I realised that the architects and planning department needed local professionals like me to help them adapt to local realities.”
Sales Inspector for Schüco International KG in 2013, then responsible for client follow-up and referrals for customers in the aluminium joinery industry, Adil sold Schüco’s range of profiles and accessories. Still based in Rabat, he became a Business Development Manager in February 2018. He oversaw a team of three who worked to roll out the brand nationwide, in partnership with ten major partners from the Schüco network and a variety of fitters.
“Within five years our market had matured: thermal regulations were changing, and construction industry standards had made sustainable materials a headline requirement. Our brand, present in Morocco since 2011, had earned a reputation as a high-end brand and I am proud to be its representative; today, Schüco sets the standard in insulation and safety.
Our message on sustainable development is bearing its fruits.”
Adil Moustakim has plans to introduce new products into his sector, and his ambitions don’t stop at the Moroccan border! With free trade agreements about to come into effect with West Africa, he hopes to expand his team in the next few years, and turn Morocco into an export platform.
