Co-Founder, SAAHA AS
Adnan Harambasic has accumulated a broad range of international experience through his participation in large-scale architecture projects and competitions. After 10 years as partner at A-lab/Oslo, he co-founded SAAHA with Thor Olav Solbjør in 2013. They established new office after being named finalist in the Nordic Built Challenge – an open international competition for the restoration and extension of the Posthuset building in Oslo.
At SAAHA, he led the interdisciplinary competition team for the new government quarter in Oslo. He also lead the team of designers and consultants that won the Futurebuilt competition for the adaptive re-use of an existing factory building with the «I Love Nydalen» proposal. Harambasic has been project leader for the office building for Lyse Elnett, timber structure and the BREEAM Outstanding building. Currently he is leading a SAAHA efforts on development of two , new neighborhoods, at Hegreneset in Bergen and Verket in Moss.
Harambasic is currently a president of NAL (Norwegian Association of Architects), has been taking part in jury work related to various projects, has taught and lectured in Norway, Europe and Asia.
