Alex has over 20 years working in engineering consultancy of which 10 were spent delivering large complex multi-disciplinary projects in the Middle East and surrounding regions.
Since joining Cundall in 2016, he has led several teams improving the design management and delivery efficiency of Cundall. He has also delivered numerous Net Zero or low carbon schemes and is an advocate of decarbonising structural design solutions through material selection, efficient design and the repurposing of existing buildings.
Alex has delivered high-rise buildings across the world through to completion and is a contributing author / presenter on the viability of tall buildings in Birmingham. He also lead the engineering team on the Circular Twin research and development project that was awarded AJ100 Sustainability Initiative of the year award 2022.
