As a principal and MTFA’s lead architectural conservator, Amanda’s experience includes historic material analysis and field investigations for the preparation of condition assessments, treatment plans, historic structure reports (HSR), Section 106 analysis, and construction documents. This range of skills includes mortar analysis, paint analysis, masonry cleaning and stabilization, materials testing, and building surveys. Her expertise in historic construction practices is invaluable when diagnosing and prioritizing repairs for water infiltration, material deterioration, and the integrity of historic buildings. Amanda is a LEED Green Associate, and is a Professional Associate with the American Institute for Conservation (AIC). Her extraordinary effort and passion for conservation have been recognized with multiple awards on projects such as the historic Folger Shakespeare Library, the Cannon House Office Building, and the Cosmos Club in Washington, DC.
