Amanda Prins

Senior Associate Principal, KPF

Amanda Prins is a licensed architect with 12 years of experience designing commercial, academic, and urban planning projects in North American and the Middle East. She brings a detail-oriented and technical management approach to her projects, ensuring their success through design and delivery.

Amanda is the project manager for 17xM, a Class-A office building in Washington D.C. with a dynamic form encased in an articulated façade. Amanda’s portfolio also includes 55 Hudson Yards, where she worked closely with the developer, tenants, and consultants to develop design standards for future tenants. She also worked on the renovation of 280 Park Avenue, a Class-A office tower located near Grand Central Station.

Amanda served as an Artist in Residence at the 2012 American Psychoanalytic Society 2012 National Meeting, presenting her studio’s research on educational facilities, psychology, and architecture. She cochairs KPF’s ACE Mentoring program for high school students.
