Architect, Populous
Andrea is an Architect at Populous based in the firm’s London Office. Andrea undertook his undergraduate studies in Italy before moving to the UK to complete a master’s degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Before joining Populus, he worked on variety of multidisciplinary projects in Taipei, Paris, and London.
Andrea has worked on a number of largescale projects at Populous, specialising in envelope and technical design. He strongly believes in integrated engineering as an essential feature in today’s architecture. Andrea worked on the renovation of La Meinau Stadium in Strasbourg with a particular focus on the brise soleil façade, a striking, world-first design that uses 4.000 sqm of upcycled aircraft fuselages to create a sunshade for the South Stand hospitality spaces.
