Andrés Cajiga

Director de Proyectos, Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos

Andrés Cajiga Ramírez was born in Mexico City in 1970. He studied Architecture at the Iberoamericana University, Santa Fe campus, and has a Diploma in Sustainable Design and Construction from the same university.

His great interests, ability and experience in architectural design, coordination and supervision of developments in Mexico and abroad, shown by Andrés over more than 30 years of professional career, has qualified him to be Project Leader at Sordo Madaleno since 2011. Within his career at Sordo Madaleno, he has directed projects of great importance for the office, such as Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen (2015), Hyatt Regency Andares (2017) and Andares Corporate Building (2017) of Masterplan Andares in Jalisco, the mixed-use development ARTZ Pedregal (2018), Banyan Tree Mayakoba (2020), the Antara Expansion (currently under construction) and the design of Ritz Carlton Riviera Maya and Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica.
