Andres Roncal

Andres Roncal is an architect and engineer turned developer specializing in machine learning, generative AI, and computational automation in the built environment. His work focuses on integrating data-driven processes, geometric rationalization, and AI-powered simulations to improve efficiency and interoperability in architectural and engineering workflows. He holds a master’s in Advanced Computation for Architecture from IAAC in Barcelona, a bachelor’s in architecture from Pratt Institute, and an associate degree in architecture from Miami Dade College. His training in Python, data science, and machine learning supports his interest in developing tools for simulation, automation, and web-based interaction. With experience in façade engineering, project management, and computational design, Andres has contributed to R&D efforts across design and engineering firms. His current areas of exploration include physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), deep learning, and interactive tools for architectural analysis.
