Associate, Orms
Andrew joined Orms in 2014 and became an Associate in 2017. He is responsible for the studio’s recruitment, design reviews and the curation of our research work and leads the team delivering the complex Outernet mixed use scheme in London. His contribution has been vital in gaining planning and listed building consent, producing construction information and delivering the project on site. Andrew heads up the studio’s involvement with the London School of Architecture and is an established leader of one of the School’s Design Think Tanks, which fuse research and architectural design. This year he has led the ‘Purpose and Pleasure’ Design Think Tank investigating the Night time Economy through the lens of health and well being. Previous research topics have included an exploration of the role of the metropolitan high street in the digital age and redesigning democracy
