Project Manager, Technoform Poland
Dr. Barbara Muir is a Project Manager at Technoform Poland and Post Doc at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Poland. After completing her Masters degree in Chemical Technology, she continued her scientific career through a doctorate at the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection of AGH University. She completed her PhD with honours, and her thesis studied the production of sorbents based on waste materials, such as fly ash, and then their reuse for the sorption of water polluting substances, e.g. organic compounds and heavy metals. Barbara uses this specific knowledge in her current work, taking an active part in projects related to innovative technologies of desiccant integrated into spacers at IGU. She is the author of over 20 articles in scientific journals, and participated in over 25 national and international conferences. In 2018, she became a laureate of the START program, in which every year 100 of the most talented young scientists are awarded.
