General Manager, Entasis (Member of Gammon Construction)
Ben Wong is a seasoned Construction Manager in the Building Envelope Construction. He has over 3 decade’s belt of experience in design& engineering supervision, and project management in external facade works, he joined Gammon in 2017 and currently leads as the General Manager at Entasis.
Ben holds a Master of Science in Inter-disciplinary Design & Management from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Construction Management from The London South Bank University. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers.
In addition to his professional qualifications, Ben serves public posts as the Vice Chairman of the Curtain Wall Committee at the Registered Specialist Trade Contractors Federation and as a Member of the Dispute Resolution Committee for the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers.
Throughout his career, Ben has demonstrated strong leadership in delivering projects, successfully managing, coordinating, and developing staffs to ensure the effective completion of projects. He is highly capable of ensuring that projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting clients’ needs, business objectives, and design guidelines. Ben’s strong technical knowledge in facade systems, project planning, production, and statutory regulations in Building and construction paves way for him to seamlessly drive the project from concept to project post hand-over.
Before joining Gammon Construction Limited in 2017, Ben held various positions at prominent companies such as Permasteelisa HK Ltd., Hip Hing Construction Co. Ltd., Millennium Engineering Ltd., and Flour City Architectural Metals (Asia) Ltd. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous high-profile projects, including the construction of the Student Hostel at Whitehead for City University of Hong Kong, the HKIA Terminal 2 Expansion, and the Heng Seng Bank HQ Glass Strengthening Works in Central.
With his indiscriminate experience and expertise in external facade construction, Ben continues to spawn significant contributions to the building industry and remains a respected figure in his field.
