General Manager - EME, Halio International
Benoit Domercq, PhD, is General Manager for Europe and Middle East region at HALIO INTERNATIONAL. Previously, he was in charge of the New Business Development department for the AGC European Building Division. His role was to find new revenue streams for the group with a focus on the Europe and Middle East markets. His current focus is to develop HALIO, the most advanced smart-tinting glass system, as the solution for smart buildings and smart cities. Previously, he was the Lighting and Electronics Manager at AGC Glass Europe from 2008 to 2013. Dr. Domercq was previously a member of the research faculty team of the Optical Sciences Centre at the University of Arizona and later involved in the Centre for Organic Photonics and Electronics at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Senior Scientist in charge of managing industrial partnership. Dr. Domercq received an MS from the Ecole Polytechnique in France and PhD in Material Sciences from the University of Nantes.
