Project Leader, APT

Bram is a Project Leader at Apt with extensive experience in large-scale projects covering a range of sectors.

Originally from the Netherlands, Bram has worked on projects in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia, including a 4-year stint in China before returning to the UK.

At Apt, Bram is overseeing several large-scale projects including 2 Trafalgar Way, a student accommodation-led, mixed-use campus with three towers set over 28, 36 and 46 storeys, providing 1,672 student rooms, 80 residential apartments and supporting amenities. A four-storey podium includes 41,000 sq.ft commercial office space, as well as ancillary residential space, indoor soft play-space for children, a restaurant and retail offer.

In addition to providing high-quality accommodation, the project aims to achieve exemplar sustainability credentials, targeting both BREEAM Outstanding and Passivhaus certification, which once achieved, will make it the largest Passivhaus development in Europe.

Keen on supporting aspiring architects with their career, Bram is also a mentor for Apt’s apprenticeship scheme, which provides an alternative to the conventional university route.
