Engineering Manager, Novum Structures
Before joining the company in 2008, Brian served for nine years with MERO-SCHMIDLIN UK PLC which culminated as being Head of Design for UK operations. Prior to this Brian has been employed within the UK construction industry since 1982 with a steel fabricator, Consulting Engineering Practises and also Local Authority at Oxfordshire County Council. Brian Linton is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers since 1994. He is also an active member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, with includes the Society of Facade Engineers.
He has undertaken an extensive range of part time study including certification in Civil Engineering studies at ONC, HNC levels through to gaining his Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honours in 1991 from Kinston Polytechnic and subsequently during full time study completed a Master of Science Degree in 1995 graduating with distinction from The University
