Britta Knobel Gupta is the founding partner of Studio Symbiosis Architects. After graduating from Architectural Association, London, she did her Masters Degree in Architecture & Urbanism she worked with ZahaHadid Architects for a period of 4 years. She was a Lead Project Architect at Zahas highly acclaimed Visionary projects of Abu Dhabi Performing Arts Center, Broad Art Museum in Michigan, Dubai Opera House, Office Tower Dubai, Tripoli Peoples Conference Hall etc.

Currently, as the founding partner of Studio Symbiosis, she has led the design of various projects all over India.

She is an award winning architect having won the ‘Newcomer award 2002’ for her diploma thesis, the DAAD Scholarship and has been published for various projects.

With an academic background, she has taught the Diploma Degree in the School of Architecture and Design, Brighton, UK & is also teaching the master unit in the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi.
