Academically, Mr.Sarma holds an M.S. in Project Management from Anna University and Diploma in Marketing Management and Production Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai. He did his Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from Andhra University.
Sarma’s responsibilities as the Head-Infrastructure include creation of large software development centres for the Company from the stage of concept till commissioning. He has piloted the development of green building campuses for TCS with sustainable features. Sarma is responsible for the selection of technology for various packages, technical specifications, design, vetting and verification of drawings, tendering, vendor selection and award of contract, execution and complete Project Management end to end.
