Founder, Bilgin Architectural Design Studio
After graduating from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, Caner Bilgin completed his undergraduate degree at Istanbul Kültür Üniversitesi in 2009. During 2008-2009, he attended Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. He completed his Master’s degree in Architectural Design program at Istanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi in 2011. In 2011, he commenced his professional career at Teğet Mimarlık. Until 2013, he engaged in various competition projects and conceptual design processes at Teğet before founding Bilgin Architects.
In addition to his professional practice, he worked as a part-time lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi from 2012 to 2019, overseeing studio sessions. In 2016, he participated in the Venice Architecture Biennale at the Turkish Pavilion with an installation titled “Baştarda”. In 2024, he was honored with the Ariktera Young Architect Award and European 40under40 Award.
Throughout his professional career, he has achieved significant success and won awards in various national architectural competitions. He has also organized seminars and workshops at different universities and institutions.
