Senior Façade Engineer, BuroHappold Engineering
Charis works within the Buro Happold Façade Engineering team with main focus on international and complex geometry projects. She has lived in London, Beijing and Hong Kong working on a variety of projects in a range of sectors and has over 10 years experience within the AEC industry.
Charis is experienced in complex 3D geometrical form finding, specialist structures, development and design of innovative materials, system design, performance requirements and global design standards. She bridges together the architectural vision with the engineering practicality to provide tailored solutions for each project.
Charis is passionate about design and realising even the most complex of design aspirations. She has been involved in a several high profile projects across the globe with industry leading architects, including: Nanjing Youth Olympics Centre, Xiqu Opera House, Morpheus Tower, Qatar Foundation and Vauxhall Cross Island.
