Chihoon Lee founded SoA (Society of Architecture) in Seoul in 2010. SoA is a leading Korean architectural firm that explores the relationship between urban environments and social conditions. With a strong belief in architecture’s ability to enrich modern life, SoA pursues innovative, context-driven design across a wide range of scales—from cultural spaces to public infrastructure.
The firm has collaborated on Seoul’s civic development as well as with Korea’s most influential corporations and cultural institutions. Major projects include the renewal of the National Museum of Korea, exhibition designs for the Samsung Hoam Art Museum, and architectural projects for leading Korean companies such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai Motor Company, and Lotte Group.
Today, SoA is regarded as one of Korea’s most forward-thinking architectural practices, combining creativity, credibility, and executional strength. The firm continues to build long-term partnerships with government agencies, public institutions, and corporate clients, grounded in trust, expertise, and a shared vision for impactful design.
