Chris joined Robert Bird Group (RBG), who are specialist Structural, Civil, Geotechnical and Construction Engineers, in 2016. He currently leads a Building Structures Team in London and has 15 years of Engineering and Project Leadership experience within multiple sectors leading projects from viability to completion. He has led RBG’s delivery of 21 Moorfields, a complex over station development overcoming multiple onsite constraints, providing 60,000sqm of Grade A commercial office space over London’s Moorgate Station. Other significant projects include G-Gate Theatre at Olympia London, a complex 7-storey auditorium over the extended exhibition hall, below a 3-storey office; Boggo Road Underground Station as part of Brisbane’s Cross River Rail Project; London’s Luton Airport Expansion Project, doubling capacity at Luton Airport; 60 Holborn Viaduct (Amazon); and Kings Cross T2-T4 (Facebook). Chris’ approach combines a solid technical understanding with clear communication and a collaborative approach, allowing him to develop successful relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants and Contractors.
