Christina Mueller

Director‑Enclosures & Facades, Gardiner & Theobald

Christina Mueller joined Gardiner & Theobald’s NYC office in 2026 as the Director of Enclosures & Facades. She brings over 25 years of professional experience in the AEC and legal fields, spanning Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx), quality assurance, risk management, design, and restoration. Her work includes large-scale and institutional projects such as hospitals, research laboratories, federal and municipal buildings, offices & hospitality, private estates, senior living facilities, schools, and universities.

During her career, Christina has served as the key investigator on various construction defect litigation projects throughout NY, NJ, CA, CO, NV, TX, and AZ. She has also led multimillion-dollar restoration and National Landmark preservation design projects in NY, VA, and CA. Over the past decade, much of her work focused on BECx projects in NY, NJ, MA, and CT. Christina is G&T’s official BECx provider and leads the growing E&F team for both technical consulting and project management. Some of her current work includes property conditions assessments, oversight of luxury hotel exterior restorations, and management of other capital improvement projects.

Christina holds the M.Arch from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design and a BA in Political Science from Stony Brook University. She is an Associate AIA, registered with NCARB, a Certified BECx Provider & Infrared Thermographer, and is a member of IIBEC, USGBC, NWIR, NAWIC, and PWC.
