Christoph Klinzmann received his doctorate degree in 2008 in Braunschweig where he carried out a research subject on Probabilistic Assessment of structures based on structural health monitoring. After a year of post Doctorate work on a Fire safety concept for performance-based design, he joined hhpberlin in 2009 where he is one of the two heads of the branch office in Hamburg. Since then he has worked on middle and large-scale projects like shopping centres and other mixed-use buildings, Aircraft hangars and High-rise buildings. Apart from fire safety concepts he is working on the application of performance-based methods in fire safety engineering. Since 2013 he is a Lecturer on reliability theory at a German university. He is a member of several technical committees for standardisation and technical guidelines.
