Cian Davis a Director at Bates Smart and a talented lead architectural designer who works across multiple project types and sizes. He is particularly adept in designing innovative solutions and resolving complex design issues and has successfully navigated a number of challenging projects. His significant achievements include the Bendigo Hospital (winner of the Sir Zelman Cowen Award for Public Architecture at the Australian Institute of Architects 2018 National Architecture Awards), the new Australian Embassy in Washington D.C., the Queen Victoria Market residential development, and the new Westin Hotel, Darwin. Cian is a key member of Bates Smart’s design technology committee and has helped to implement many new technologies within the studio, including virtual reality tools
