Clive Atkinson

Clive is the Leader of Mott MacDonald’s Façade Design and Engineering Team in London with responsibility to the Regional Directors.  He is internationally known as a specialist in facade design and engineering of high profile building projects; ranging from small scale RIBA award winning art galleries, sports stadia, hotels, heritage residential refurbishments, landmark offices to a civil courthouse project. His project work ranges from San Francisco to Almaty, Kuala Lumpur and most regions in between. Clive’s work is founded on a strong delivery ideology that considers the manufacturing and construction process lie at the heart of cladding design, create complex façade solutions by adopting a simple narrative using practices that are both controlled and repeatable. Clive and his team are currently supporting the delivery of the World’s tallest modular buildings, their current record at 44 storeys will soon to be overtaken by a second project at 48 storeys.
