As a partner at Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Daniel Lobitz creates places that are captivating, contextual, and contribute to the public realm.

Since joining RAMSA in 1986, Dan has designed and managed a diverse body of work, including multi-family residential buildings, hotels and resorts, and institutional buildings. His ability to work across boundaries extends to his role as lead designer for the firm’s product design initiative, producing award-winning furnishings, textiles, lighting, and more for several leading manufacturers.

Dan’s design work has had a transformative impact on cities across the county, from Lovejoy Wharf in Boston to 30 Park Place in Lower Manhattan. Currently, he is designing adaptive re-use project in San Francisco that restores the residential fabric in the Presidio Heights community.

Dan is a member of the ArchitectsAmerican Institute of Architects, the Urban Land Institute, the Congress for the New Urbanism, and the Cornell Hotel Society.
