
Principal, DeSimone
Based in DeSimone Consulting Engineering’s Miami office since 2006, Danilo Nanni has led some of the firms most complex, high-profile, and award-winning projects. Last year his work on the Aston Martin Residences in Miami earned an ENR “Best of the Best Award,” and he recently completed his work leading the DeSimone structural design team for the new MSC Cruises terminal in PortMiami.
Currently, he’s leading the structural design for the complex façade of Calle 8 and for Seaway in Miami. Other exceptional developments include the Paramount Miami Worldcenter, a 1.3 million SF, 60-story residential tower that is part of the Miami Worldcenter complex; the Panorama Tower, a 2.6 million SF, 868-foot-tall structure that is today the tallest building in Florida; and Brickell Flatiron, a 65-story, 736-foot-tall residential tower. He has also contributed to projects in the United Arab Emirates and Puerto Rico.
Danilo received his 5-year degree (Laurea) in Structural Engineering from the Polytechnic in Milan, Italy, and earned an MBA from the University of Miami.
