David Blanco Santos studied architecture at Polytechnic University of Madrid, UPM, and he has started his career developing competitions and carrying out projects in Salamanca and Madrid. Later, he has joined the Saint-Gobain group since 2012 to specialize in glass for envelopes and, at the same time, in building structures at the UPM. He has always been linked to glazing technical support and in constant contact with teams of architects for the development of glass in projects from the technical department of Saint-Gobain Glass Spain. Since 2017 has been Technical Support and Specification manager and in 2021 he was also appointed Non-residential Market Manager for Saint-Gobain Glass Spain and is responsible for promoting innovative glass solutions for facades. He has actively participated in technical training for prescribers, dissemination in various manuals and development of new glass solutions for the Spanish market, through his presence in forums and associations.
