Dennis Rehill

Director-International, Henry J Lyons

Dennis is a Director of Henry J Lyons International studio. The International studio was created to expand the firm’s portfolio into large scale, high rise sustainable buildings around the globe. Dennis specialises in commercial, residential, and hospitality projects on a variety of scales, from urban infill to supertall and masterplanning. He has an extensive background and impressive portfolio of highly sustainable, mixed-use urban design projects in the Middle East, Asia, North America, and Europe. He holds certifications from the Passivhaus Institut, BREAAM and LEED, was co-chair of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat in Seattle, and is currently a sustaining member of the Urban Land Institute. Most recently Dennis has been working on the Clery’s Quarter in Dublin and a pair of towers in Shenzhen.

Prior to the formation of the HJL International studio, Dennis served in a variety of leadership roles with international consultancies, including: Vice President and Design Director of WATG Urban in Seattle, Design Director and Tall Buildings Practice Area Leader at Gensler Seattle, Studio Head with Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture in Chicago, Associate with Scott Tallon Walker Architects, and Design Architect with Skidmore, Owings + Merrill. Notable projects include 888 2nd Avenue and Stewart + Minor in Seattle, Goldenland Suzhou, Kingdom Tower, Tianfu Eco-City at AS+GG Architecture, and Burj Khalifa, 7 South Dearborn and Lake Shore East Masterplan at SOM.
