Dominic has worked in the facade business in Australia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, and in all aspects of the industry working for a specialist subcontractor, a worldwide design consultancy and presently at a main contractor.
As Australian Hub Facade Manager at Laing O’Rourke he is responsible for certainty of envelope package delivery for the end user on various projects. Having just completed Laing O’Rourke’s new head office project at 100 Mount Street, he is now responsible for the delivery of facade packages in the Education sector, as well as heading up new opportunities to innovate within the facade industry in areas such as 100% transition to digital tools, Advanced off-site manufacturing and construction techniques, Sustainable facade solutions.
He has a strong understanding of structures, buildability, design principles and authority requirements with a particular focus on the building envelope. Dominic strongly believes that by building strong relationships and collaboration between all stakeholders leads to a successful outcome for the building end user – the facade industry consistently leads the industry in this regard.
