Donald Lawson earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Illinois State University and brings more than 40 years of leadership in advanced coatings formulation. Don is widely recognized for advancing fluoropolymer technologies that improve façade life‑cycle performance through extended service life, superior color retention, and reduced maintenance. Across published technical work, conference presentations, and industry collaboration, he has helped shift specifications from first cost to total life‑cycle value. Don has also developed formulation software supporting durability modeling and performance prediction. A co‑inventor on patented cardanol‑based dimer technology, Don serves in the LUMIFLON® Technical Development Group at AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc.
