Dorte Børresen

Project Manager | Team Leader, Lendager

Dorte Børresen is an architect, Project manager and Team lead at Lendager Architects in Copenhagen. Throughout a number of projects, she has worked with the re-use of glass, metal, brick and wood in new facade designs, thereby experiencing challenges and possibilities within the field of re-use. She has managed the project for the first Danish wooden high rise building TRÆ in Aarhus for Lendager. TRÆ is currently under construction. The facade of TRÆ will be based on the re-use of metal sheets and the project contains a large amount of re-used and up-cycled materials as part of the interior design. Dorte is currently the project manager for the Karstadt am Hermannplatz Teilprojekt B in Berlin. In this project an existing department store and parking house is partly demolished. The building materials harvested in the demolition process will be re-used in the facades of the new design.
