Building & Façade Engineer, Marc T Zobec Design & Engineering
For over 35 years, Marc Zobec PhD FIE Aust CPEng EngExec has worked in the façade contracting industry, notably for the Permasteelisa Group based in the group headquarters in Italy, having held the position of Group Technical Director. His responsibilities extended across multiple operational areas including design, engineering, technical support and training, innovation, procurement, production, site installation and QESH management. A Chartered professional engineer with bachelor and master’s degrees in civil, structural and building engineering and a PhD in Blast Enhanced Facades; he has published 35 technical peer reviewed publications, holds various building patents and been involved in the delivery of over 100 iconic façade projects. Currently Marc works as a contracting façade engineer assisting clients, architects and contractors in holistic design and delivery risk awareness, building envelope design solutions and forensic building investigation.
