Edwin Remmerie

Design and Operational Lead, Binst Architects

Edwin Remmerie is Design and Operational lead at Binst Architects, and has worked in the office since 2005. Working closely together with founder and CEO Luc Binst, he is responsible for managing the office and supervising the Design Phase of every project. He is also Head of International Development, supervising both the first Binst Architects US project in Miami, as well as leading the international expansion plans in the US and the Middle East.

He has lead several high-profile projects and competitions for Binst Architects, and collaborated with Snøhetta, KAAN architecten, and Baumschlager-Eberle architecten. Key projects include Rose@Wynwood in Miami, the 70 000m² transformation of Centre Monnaie to oXy, the Lakeside development at Tour&Taxis, both in Brussels, as well as the Binst Architects Headquarters in Antwerp.

Edwin holds a Master Degree in Engineering and Architecture from KU Leuven university, as well as a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Antwerp Management School.
