Head of Façades, Multiplex
Eilis has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years and has worked in facades for the majority of that time. She studied Civil Engineering at Queens University Belfast and subsequently MSc in Façade Engineering.
She established one of the first façade business units for a main contractor and is currently Head of Facades for Brookfield Multiplex Construction Europe, a business with a turnover in excess of £1billion. Eilis and her team oversee a portfolio of major UK projects, predominantly in London. She also collaborates with Brookfield Office Properties on defining the design brief for their facades to ensure innovation and best practice, both in design and delivery, are integrated at an early stage.
Eilis has worked on many of the iconic buildings on the London skyline including Central Saint Giles, One New Change and the Rothchild Headquarters. She is currently working on London Wall Place and Principle Place which are Brookfield Office Properties flagship projects. Brookfield Multiplex Construction Europe has a large and varied portfolio for both external and internal clients
She is also working on 22 Bishopsgate, currently under construction, and due to be the tallest office building in London. She also provides advice on major refurbishment projects such as Centre Point Tower which is an iconic 1950’s listed building currently being refurbished with the existing precast cladding being retained, providing challenges in terms of certain aspects of performance, which will provide high specification residential units and retail.
Since joining Brookfield Multiplex Construction Europe she has established a façade peer group which provides support, advances in façade innovation with the design function and also establishes learning and development for the wider business.
