Eliza Langham

3D Designer, ARM Architecture

Joining ARM Architecture in 2016, Eliza Langham is highly skilled in the technical and creative aspects of design. She works in 2D and 3D design and modelling, usually at the design development stages of projects. She is a talented designer who works closely with ARM’s directors to develop, explore and model complex architectural ideas from concept to construction. She enjoys exploring how established artistic and craft techniques can be translated into fascinating architectural propositions and was involved with the design for Monash Chancellery building and its steel façade shading screen. She worked on establishing the geometry and using 3D software to achieve the dynamic effect across the screen before rationalising the system to make it achievable. Previously, she worked in heritage architecture and she has sympathy and experience with preserving and adapting places with heritage significance for contemporary usages. Eliza has regularly been involved in teaching at the University of Western Australia and has taught at RMIT through the ARM Design Studio.
