Adjunct Associate Professor, Pratt Institute, School of Architecture
Enrica Oliva, a structural engineer in New York City with 19 years of experience, has been an advocate for “Integrated Engineering” for over a decade. As Partner and COO of Werner Sobek New York – a WBE firm in New York City – Enrica led the specialty engineering, sustainability and enclosures team, and completed projects worldwide.
Her work focuses on sustainable design, material innovation and specialty components of primary structures and building enclosures, and includes art installations, museums, buildings for cultural and educational institutions.
Her work is published in the proceedings of the “Façade Tectonics” and “Challenging Glass” Conferences, “Madame Architect” and “Architectural Record”. She has presented at the AIA Center for Architecture in New York, served as a Juror for the Architectural Record Best of Practice Awards, and a Keynote Speaker for the AIA Iowa Spring 2022 Conference.
Enrica is currently Adjunct Associate Professor at Pratt Institute, School of Architecture.
