Business Development Manager - Korea, Florim
Joung Hyun Shin (Erik Shin) is a business development manager of Florim Ceramiche S.p.A., responsible for Korean market. Working with one of the most recognized and leading porcelain stoneware manufacturers from Italy, currently involved with various important projects both interior and exterior façade, and also private and government by collaboration with architects and designers.
Prior to joining Florim, he had 15 years of experience dealing with different European building products such as tiles and stones, raised floor, waterproofing (EPDM/TPO), terracotta and so on. Some of the important projects participated in are Incheon airport, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Cheil Industries memorial hall, Maxim plant, Jeju 4.3 memorial park, Art Bunker B39, Hyundai Motorstudio, Suscheonman National garden and so on.
Being born and raised in Seoul, Korea, but spending most of his 20’s in Toronto, Canada, it allowed him to have wide international perspective and deeper understanding of different cultures and people. His passion is to be a “link” of partnership and trust between Korean and European companies and industries.
