Founder, Solo Design and Consultancy
She is graduated from Ankara College in 1990 and from the Middle East Technical University (METU) Faculty of Architecture in 1994.
During the first decade of her professional career, she worked on the design and implementation of educational, tourism, office, and residential buildings at various architectural and construction firms in Ankara.
After moving to Istanbul, she delved into the world of light and glass, significantly contributing to architecture through marketing and brand management within Şişecam’s Flat Glass group. While managing the Isıcam franchise system, she also provided glass consultancy for architectural projects in Turkey and internationally, focusing on innovative façade designs.
Currently, as the founder of Solo Design and Consultancy, she is dedicated to passive building design and innovative façade solutions that contribute to a greener, more livable world. Leveraging her expertise in integrating advanced glass technologies into sustainable architectural designs, she aims to create value and elevate industry standards by leading projects that utilize artificial intelligence in the construction materials sector to improve efficiency in production.
Additionaly, through her weekly radio program and podcast series titled “What’s Left Until 2053?”, she collaborates with experts to raise awareness on sustainability and climate change, with a particular focus on energy efficiency through passive building design and best practices. As Turkey strives to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2053, this platform aims to foster awareness, consciousness, and change by regularly sharing success stories from Turkey and around the world, highlighting the individual, societal, and global benefits of energy efficiency in buildings.
