Eui-Sung Yi

Partner, Morphosis

Eui-Sung Yi is a Partner at Morphosis Architects with a focus on Urban Planning and Asian projects. He is the director of The Now Institute, a research center for urban strategy and sustainability. His professional and academic discourse speculates on contemporary urbanism with a focus on the dynamic and unorthodox Asian context and developing nations such as Haiti. He has built a wide range of projects, from the Korean Embassy in Tokyo to the tallest steel tower in China. He has co-authored and edited the best seller, 100 Buildings and a 730 page visual almanac called Haiti Now. He is an Adjunct Professor and has also taught and lectured globally. He received his B. Arch from Cornell University and his M. Arch from Harvard University.
