Norman Xu has been a practicing architect for over 15 years, specializes in comprehensive master planning of mixed-use development in dense urban environment.
Norman is the Director of Design for Swire Properties US. Prior to Miami, Norman has been Senior Project Manager at Swire Properties in Hong Kong overseeing full cycle of development, encompassing pre-development planning through concept design and project implementation across Asia, few notable projects include Taikoo Place Contemporization, Two Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay Harborfront Redevelopment, Sanya Taikoo Li and more. In the U.S., Norman is overseeing the design and planning of The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami.
Norman holds a Bachelor of Architecture Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a dual Master’s Degree in Architecture and in Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. Norman represents the company as a member of The Underline’s Design Advisory Committee.
