Façade and Building Physics Leader, South, Arup
Felipe joined Arup’s façade engineering group in 2008. His experience includes the development of building envelope components on various building types located in the US, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. Before joining the Buildings Group in Los Angeles in 2019, Felipe spent 12 years at the Sydney office in Australia where he worked on some of the most iconic buildings of the city.
He has designed the façades for new developments, as well as façade upgrades of several adaptive reuse projects which typically include onerous performance and budget requirements including coordination with other disciplines. He also has extensive experience working on a variety of façade upgrade projects and complex audits of building portfolios such as Commercial, Government Education, etc.
Felipe now leads the Arup Facades Discipline Team in Houston aiming at delivering significant projects for Arup and his clients and to broaden and develop the façade business in the Americas.
