Francisco Barrero has been working at Saint Gobain for the last 17 years, with wide expertise in flat glass products for facades, windows and even beverages/dairy fridges. He is the head of the technical team as Project Specification Manager.
During 2018 he has received credentials as EDGE Expert, and has taken part on several projects looking for this certification as well as LEED and many others.
Francisco has been on the review of Mexico’s norms like NOM 008 and 020 for energy in buildings, and NOM 146 for safety glass products, and is now part of the team in charge for the new version of the Mexico City’s Construction Code.
He has given glass-for-building workshops focused on students, professionals and building workers with or without experience in this subject.
